FAAN signs MoU with KUSOM (June 24, 2020)

On June 24, 2020, Fulbright Alumni Association of Nepal (FAAN) and Kathmandu University School of Management (KUSOM) agreed to collaborate for strengthening policy research, governance and strategic advocacy in the above-mentioned areas and capacity building of network.

On behalf of the respective organizations, Dr. Kirti K. Joshi (President of FAAN) and Dr. Purna B. Nepali (Associate Professor and Program Director, KUSOM) signed the Memorandum of Understanding between the two organizations.

The areas of collaboration include 

• Public Policy Lab and Social Policy Lab/Justice lab 
• Fellowship for Policy Engagement. 
• Research, studies, publication, and advocacy on economic inclusion, social inclusion, civic space, and governance.  
• Capacity building of the policymakers to sensitize them on inclusive public policy making, policy monitoring, and good governance. 
• Public Lecture Series and Guest lectures delivery on pertinent issues
• Promotion of engagement of students in internship and research opportunities in professional networks.
