About Us

Fulbright Alumni Association of Nepal (FAAN) is a registered association of Nepali Fulbright alumni. It is a non-profit making, non-governmental organization committed to upholding the ideals of the Fulbright Program. Realizing the need and importance of an alumni forum, discussions started as early as 1984 among the Nepali Fulbrighters about the need, nature, and modality of such forum, leading to the establishment of an ad-hoc committee (1986-1991) led by Prof. Dr. Mangal Siddhi Manandhar. The FAAN Constitution was first drafted in English in 1991. FAAN became an officially registered organization on June 17, 1997.
